It’s our pleasure that we are one step towards nature and naturalizing our lifestyle with nature. We human beings, human generations and even any creature in  nature can survive happily only when our lives and lifestyles   are in tune with nature. Anything against nature will definitely be harmful. However, though everybody know this, our race  for modern life and technology has left behind the other side viz nature.. This made us to think, decide and contribute towards accelerating the speed of conservation and growth of greenery around us.  Thus was born ‘PLANTREE’!

The primary objective of PLANTREE is to move human society to live in ways that protect Earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations. Our programs and projects encompass protecting global climate and energy systems, preservation of environment to arrest the massive ecological degradation, empower and strengthen governing bodies  with environmentally sound and socially equitable decision making, harness market and enterprises to expand economic opportunity and protect the environment,  reverse rapid degradation of ecosystem and assure their capacity to provide humans with needed goods and services, catalyze environmentally and financially sustainable transport solutions to improve quality of life in cities.

How do we do this? And what should we do?

PLANTREE conducts programs to create awareness about global warming, ecological balance and the need for rapid action towards growing trees, developing forests, pleasant greenery around us and eco-friendly life. We plant saplings and support them to become trees to be loaded with flowers and fruits. We plant and grow trees across road side, river side, barren land or a part of forest which brings back the glory of diverse beauty of our historical forests down through generations. We do construction of gardens and parks,  cleaning and rejuvenating of water bodies and all bit that contribute to a life with nature. We do all this in collaboration with and support from individuals and corporates.

PLANTREE is an NGO in India registered under section 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act. We welcome volunteers and donors to join hands with us and ignite the love towards nature within yourself!
